The Lumex Select AeroComfort is designed to help prevent and provide therapy for the management of patients with a high risk (up to Stage IV) of developing pressure injuries.

Intelligent Pressure Monitoring:
Responds to patient movements on mattress by automatically adjusting internal mattress pressure to the areas that need it. Monitored by integrated pressure sensors.

Alternating Pressure / Static Mode:
Provides both alternating (dynamic) and static functions to meet individual patients’ needs. Alternating Mode has a 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minute cycle time options. The air cells continuously alternate in an A-B-A-B pattern to relief pressure and increase blood flow of the patient tissue.

Weight Input / Firmness:
Regulate the ideal pressure and firmness by selecting one of 16 different weight settings (80 to 1000 lb) closest to the patient’s weight. Or adjust up and down as needed to a desired firmness.

Pulsate Mode:
Pulsate or DBE (Deep Breathing Exercise) mode cycles between low pressure and firm inflation to promote oxygen saturation and enhance perfusion, helping to improve patient outcomes.

Upright Mode:
Upright or Fowler Mode is used to prevent patient from bottoming out when a patient is in an upright position.

Max Inflate:
Rapidly Inflates entire mattress to maximum pressure to be suitable for nursing purpose.

Panel Unlock:
When there is no operation after 2 minutes, system will automatically lock the control panel. Press the Panel Unlock key to unlock the panel.

Low Pressure/Power Failure Alarms:
Audible and visible alert to notify when abnormal internal pressure or power failure occurs. Alarm can be silenced.

Stretch Cover:
High quality washable, water resistant, moisture permeable, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal stretch cover is excellent protection of patient’s skin against friction and shear forces.
